Nuit Blanche 2008
Nuit Blanche is getting a little too popular in my opinion. The streets smelled of pot and cigarettes the entire night. Some exhibits I was looking forward to seeing weren’t even there.
This guy was pretty cool, though, even if a little schizophrenic.

I think the main problem was
I think the main problem was that there was a lack of really large-scale pieces. Nothing crowds could gather and be awed by. Nathan Philips Square wasn’t bad but not enough.
Also, the installations are way too sparse and spread out. Even on my bike, it was pretty far to go from Church to Dufferin (Liberty Village area).

Yeah. The City Hall was neat, but for some reason I’d imagined it would have colour too. The Eaton Centre blue balloon thingy wasn’t as exciting as I expected.
I skipped Zone B and walked from Zone A to Zone B.
Still not a bad night.
