Dmitri Vassilenko

Bio

I’m a fourth year Computer Science student in the Software Engineering stream at University of Toronto. Registered at U of T Scarborough, I’ve taken most of my higher-level courses downtown. My interests vary greatly. I enjoy everything from systems programming to web and GUI development. Currently, I’m exploring Drupal and helping out wherever I can.

I’ve been employed by PetRos EiKon Inc. since 2001, mostly working summers. Being a small company, I got involved in web development (PHP+Smarty+XHTML+CSS+JS), Linux system administration (Apache+MySQL+Gentoo+Bash+Python), Java and C++ (with MFC) application development, as well as network setup, backup procedures and morning coffee brewing. Although I’m no longer active there, I’m still helping out from time to time on consulting basis.

In May 2008, I joined The Jonah Group.
